Being found when the answer is written for your customer instead of listed for them. We work on both halves: ranking in classic search, and being the source an AI system quotes when it answers.
A growing share of searches now end without a click. The person asks ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot or Google's AI Overview, reads the answer, and acts on it. If your business is not among the sources that answer was built from, you were not in the running, and no amount of position-three ranking changes that.
This is the work people are starting to call GEO or AIO — generative engine optimisation, or AI optimisation. The name is unsettled. What it actually involves is not: being technically readable to the crawlers these systems use, being described consistently enough across the web that a model can state a fact about you confidently, and having content that answers a question directly rather than burying it.
We are in Manchester, we work across Greater Manchester and the North West in person, and the rest of the UK remotely. The technical half of this work is location-independent; the local half is not, which is why the two are priced and explained separately.
A block at CDN or firewall level does not appear in robots.txt, which is why this is tested by fetching rather than by reading a file.
Six pieces. Every one of them is something you can verify was done.
Every AI system fetches your site with its own user agent, and a block at Cloudflare or firewall level never appears in robots.txt. We request your pages as each crawler and report what your server actually returned, rather than what your robots file claims.
Rewriting the pages that should be quotable so the answer to the question is in the first paragraph, stated plainly, and attributable. Models quote what is easy to lift.
Your name, address, phone, services and claims stated the same way across your site, your Google Business Profile and the directories that matter. Inconsistency is why a model hedges instead of recommending you.
Organization, LocalBusiness, FAQ, Product and Service schema, implemented so it survives a theme update. It gives an AI system an unambiguous machine-readable version of facts it would otherwise have to infer from prose.
A plain-text summary at your domain root, written for AI systems rather than people. Adoption is early and we will not pretend otherwise, but it costs minutes and the exercise of stating plainly what you do is worth it on its own.
None of the above replaces ranking. AI systems draw heavily on what already ranks, so the technical and on-page work is the foundation, not an alternative.
One thing we will not do is quote you a guaranteed position in an AI answer. Nobody can. There is no submission form, no paid placement and no ranking report for ChatGPT. What can be done is make you the most quotable, most consistent, most technically legible option in your market, and then measure what changes.
5.0 out of 5 from 45 reviews on our Google Business Profile. Every one of them is public, and none of them can be edited by us.
I highly recommend Imran Hashmi for web development and SEO services. He is knowledgeable, professional, and very reliable. His understanding of website development, search engine optimisation and improving online visibility is excellent.

Decided on this company after asking another business owner for advice on where to go for SEO.
Thanks for the amazing work. Very professional, great attention to detail.
Absolute fantastic service. Start to finish the job was extremely professional. Highly recomended.
I am another happy customer with very reliable and recommended services. I am very happy to recommend you.
SEO is about ranking a page in a list of results. AIO, or GEO, is about being one of the sources an AI system uses to compose an answer. They overlap heavily — AI systems lean on what already ranks — but they are not the same job, and a page can rank well while being almost impossible for a model to quote.
It varies enormously by sector. Informational and how-to queries are affected first and hardest; local service searches with buying intent are affected least so far. We will tell you honestly where your market sits rather than selling urgency that does not apply to you.
No, and anyone who does is guessing. There is no submission process and no way to buy placement. What is controllable is whether these systems can read you, whether the web describes you consistently, and whether your content answers the question directly.
Usually not as a priority. AI systems draw on sources that already have visibility, so a site with no rankings and no citations gains little from AIO-specific work. Fix the foundations first. We will say so if that is your situation.
Crawler access is measured directly — either a bot can fetch your page or it cannot. Citation is measured by asking the systems the questions your customers ask and recording what they return, repeated over time. It is a coarser measure than rank tracking and we describe it as such.
The technical and content side works anywhere and most of our remote clients never need a visit. In-person work is Greater Manchester, Cheshire and Lancashire. Our areas page separates the two.
It costs almost nothing, so yes, but keep expectations low. Some tools look for it, most do not yet, and it is not a standard anyone is obliged to honour. We run one on this site and there is a free generator in our tools.
It is quoted after an audit, like the rest of our work, because the amount of work varies enormously with how the site is built and how consistently the business is already described online. The audit itself is free.
Ask me anything about SEO, or about the tools, the training or what we do.
If your problem is one you can fix yourself with the free tools, I will say so.
Where I am not certain, I will say so rather than guess, and Imran will follow it up.
